Lent @ LSCC

On February 16, Mardi Gras, we enjoyed a drive-through event called CAR-nival where we supplied the congregation with a lenten care package. Sadly, we cannot give you everything through the internet, but here is a sample of the paper supplies we provided at that event.

Prayers For Lent 2021

In the document above you’ll find a prayer theme for each week, taken from the Lord’s Prayer.

Each day as you pray, you can write the day’s prayer onto a strip of paper, link it through the previous day’s prayer, and secure the ends with a staple, tape, or glue to form a paper chain. On Easter, those who are able can hang these prayer chains in our Zoom backgrounds for our church service.

Prayer in Practice Week 2

Write a note of encouragement to a local organization that is doing kingdom work in our community. Pray for their leadership and ministry.

Each design on the postcards we gave out is original artwork created by someone in our congregation!

The purpose of LIVE@5//EAT@6 is to ‘share’ a meal together while we are apart due to COVID-19. Each Sunday after we gather for worship on Zoom, we invite you to enjoy a meal that has special meaning to our church body or has made its rotation in our fellowship meals. All of these meals can be prepared ahead of time so that you can eat right away after the service! Please share your culinary creations on the LSCC Life Together Facebook Page in an effort to stay connected and fellowship together.
