Ash Wednesday Service 6:30pm, February 17
This short, simple, yet powerful service draws on Scripture readings, a service of repentance, and the imposition of ashes as a way of remembering our mortality and need for Jesus.
Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of the season of Lent, the six week period that offers us space to prepare our hearts and minds for the Easter celebration. Traditionally, this season is one of repentance (turning from sin and toward Jesus afresh) and a time when people often give up something good to gain something better and/or engage in acts of service to others, more time in prayer, reading Scripture, etc.
This service will only last 30-40 minutes and will be available on Zoom at 6:30pm on Wednesday, February 17th. Register Here if you would like to join but don’t already receive our Live@5 zoom links.
