We live in a culture where the standard is work hard so you can play hard. And yet, we are one of the busiest, fragmented, and stressed out cultures to ever walk the planet. Add a pandemic, mix in some social isolation, and put it in the pressure cooker of tough economic times, polarized politics, and heightened awareness of social ills, and you have a recipe for anxiety.
As followers of Jesus we are invited to more. Yes, we work hard because part of our mission as Jesus people is lived out in vocation. And yes, we play, because Jesus invites us to enjoy creation and one another. But Jesus invites us to more —He invites us to abide in him, to rest in him, and to reflect on our lives together, in Jesus.
September 9-12, 2022, LSCC invites you to come participate in our biannual all church retreat. This is an all ages retreat intentionally designed to help us reflect on our shared life together in the beauty of God’s creation at RockRidge Canyon in B.C.

There is a variety of room setups–from bunk-beds to king beds, so the registration team will do our best to accommodate each household appropriately.
