Fircreek Snack Volunteers

At LSCC we take seriously that vocation is mission. Whether you’re a teacher, a student, an accountant, retired, or stay at home parent—we all have a calling to reflect the kingdom in our sphere of life.

Evan Bryant is leading the day camp ministry of Fir Creek—a camp that will serve thousands of children and families over the summer. Several of our church youth will also have an opportunity to serve on staff there as well!

With camp kicking off this week (June 14th) we have an opportunity to support this ministry by providing snacks for the summer staff each Sunday night. On Sunday nights the weekly campers have gone home and the staff prepares for the new batch to come the following morning.

If you sign up to bring snacks you can

(a) Buy or make snacks for 30 people and serve them outdoors to the staff yourself at 7:30pm on the Sunday evening you sign up. Handwashing and gloves will be available for you

(b) Buy or make snacks for 30 people and deliver them to the Bryant’s front door between 9am and 4pm on the Sunday you sign up. You will be greeted by a masked and friendly Meg Bryant at drop off.

If you wish, you may submit the receipt for the snacks to our treasurer for reimbursement.

Please bring something for everyone (including gluten-free and vegetarian options)
